Refurbishment, alteration and extension of 1930s H-plan office building infilled, structurally re-conditioned and re-planned to provide greater yield of multifunctional open-plan office space to a BREEAM GOOD level of sustainable design. With three additional levels of office penthouse accommodation in the Square Mile, the site abuts the Listed Leadenhall Market. The new work made extensive use of dark bronze coloured, high-quality full-height fenestration and cladding to distinguish old from new, as well as the refurbished finished building from its neighbours.
